Introducing: The New CLEVNET Mobile App & Mobile Web Catalog
Your Smartphone is about to get a lot smarter!
With CLEVNET’S catalog, powered by BiblioCommons, you can now manage your library account “on the go” with your iPhone or Android device. Click the image below to go to Clevnet's mobile app information page:
1. From your smart phone, you can visit either Apple iTunes or Google Play. The easiest way to find it is to search for the app by using "CLEVNET" as your search term.
2. From your smart phone, open your internet browser (for example, on an iPhone open Safari). Enter the URL: http://clevnet.bibliocommons.com. Your smart phone will automatically detect the mobile version of the site. On the mobile version, there is a link at the top of the page for "locations".
3. If you don't have access to a smart phone, you can force the mobile version of the site to display in a browser (such as Internet Explorer) on your desktop by using this URL: http://clevnet.bibliocommons.com/?mobile=1
You can now view full digital copies of 50 popular magazines on your computer or Wi-Fi mobile device. You will need to register and log in with your Girard Free Library barcode number (14 digits long on the back of your library card). Be sure to read the User's Guide and follow the instructions to check out and read your favorite magazines online. Click on the ZINIO logo to get started!

On October 3, 2011 the Girard Free Library officially joined CLEVNET, a consortium of 37 library systems across 10 counties in northeast Ohio. This includes the Cleveland Public Library—one of the largest research libraries in the country. You will be able to check out and return CLEVNET books, videos, and music at any library in the consortium. Sharing technological costs and using volume discounts through CLEVNET will allow Girard to make even more efficient use of taxpayer funds. |
