Have you been checked?

The Joanie Abdu mobile mammography unit--the Mahoning Valley's only 3D mobile mammography unit--is coming to the Girard Free Library on Wednesday, May 3.

It will be parked at the corner of North Avenue and Prospect Street from 8 AM to 12 noon.  Call the Circulation Desk to make an appointment. You may also contact the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center at 330-480-2654 for more information.

Mammograms are covered by most health plans, but verify that Mercy Health and the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center are in-network providers through your insurance carrier.  If you have no insurance or a high deductible, you may be eligible for financial assistance.  Call 330-480-8749 to see if you qualify.
