Please contact Maria Selak, Children's Librarian, by phone (330 545-2508 ext.21) Monday, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm; Tuesday - Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. to inquire about any of the following programs and services:

• "BOOK BUNDLES" Teachers my request a "Book Bundle" to be prepared on a particular subject. These may be picked up at the library or delivered to the school (in the Girard Free Library service area). Three days must be allowed to compile the request. Items may be renewed by phone.

• "BOOK DROP" Teachers may request a "book drop" of fiction and/or read-aloud books to be dropped off at their classroom door at the beginning of each month.

• RENEW YOUR COMMITMENT --"DEWEY IS WAITING FOR YOU!"
  Class visits to the library for research, review of library skills, or story sharing are always welcome. Visits can be arranged as early as 8:00 am. The programs will be designed to fit the needs of each individual class.

• SHOWCASE STUDENT'S CRAFTS AND ARTWORK
  Display cases in the library are a great way to show off the creative works of the students. To reserve a case, just call the Children's Dept. at ex. 21.

• LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER. This collection of books and materials is focused on helping teachers with unit plans, classroom set-up and organization. Parents can also use the collection to find information on educational issues, particularly home schooling.

• PALS. (Preschools And Libraries) This is a cooperative effort with preschool teachers and/or administrators and our library to encourage literacy in our community. This service provides on-site story times at our local preschools.
